| i do not understand what you mean by further the support of cricket. the subcontinental people in the States are going to remain cricket crazy irrespective of these matches being held there. of course, they will love to go to these matches and appreciate the efforts of playing there. on the other hand, if we are talking of developing cricket in the states as a nation and getting a good US team; a very different approach would be required. kashi |

| Earlier it was rumoured that the USA will host a couple of games from the 2007 Cricket World Cup to be held in the West Indies, but the schedule does not reflect the same.

| There was talk about organizing some world cup games in Florida earlier..but the plans havent worked out. The Cricket Association in the US does not get along with the ICC..and thats where it all begins and ends.. |
