| Where about in India are you? We are heading out to Delhi and doing Rajasthan, Punjab and Himchal Pradesh in November, but I assume you are on the coast somewhere if you are into diving! Both my other half and I are keen divers and would be happy to bring some stuff with us if we can keep within our baggage allowances if you can arrange for it to be collected. PM me if we can help. | Hi Ashish, my partner is leaving for India -- New Delhi - on the 5th of next month. If you have a friend or relative in London who could buy the equipment -- he could carry it for you till Delhi -- I am afraid he has no plans of visiting GujaraT. |

| There many places in india, with excellent water clarity for the purpose of either scuba or snorkeling. Lakshwadeep Andamans Diu Mandvi Goa. Enfortunately, govt of india does not promote tourism despite its abanduant natural wealth. All bloody politician busy minting money. Neither the equipments for adventure sports are available in india. As far as custom duty is concerned, it is not a banned good or anything illegal or a electronic gadget that would catch customs eye. And if at all it does, the custom duty slab for water sports equipment including kayaks, inflatables, scuba gears etc is 15% on invoice. |
