AFL Grand Final - Another question for Australians

Sorry about this to the other 200 nationalities who couldn't care less about australian rules..

But I don't have a TV, or know whats on it.

So does anyone know if the Australian Rules Grand Final will show on any Indian Channel on the 27th?

However I tried that to no avail. And anyway things change from year to year.

However I did learn that the GF is on the Australia Network, live.

If anyone gives a rats arse.

http://www.bigfooty.com/ try here and ask someone if anyone is streaming it - I know friends of mine watch Swans matches in the UK streamed live on the internet .. Maybe try either of the club sites and see if they are streaming...

There are some hotels (mainly 5* ones) that have Australia Network on their Tele.
So maybe scan the hotels around a day earlier and ask if they could get this on one of their TV in the bar. if you tell them that you're going to get few friends along, they'd be friendly. I hope it is not in the evening of a weekend when it'll be difficult.
otherwise see if you can find some connections into Australian High Commission delhi and get into their premises.

In a similar vein, I am going to be in Udapiur in a couple of weeks when the National Rugby League Grand Final is on.

The Australia Network appears to be broadcasting it, what are the odds of anywhere in Udaipur having it available to watch?

The AFL grand final between Geelong and Hawthon is being shown on the Australia Channel at 9am IST on the 27th.

The NRL final is also being shown - but the exact time isn't up on the Oz network website as yet (if you do go to the website don't forget to set the location on the site to India so that it gives you the correct local time here).

If there is a 5 star hotel somewhere nearby than there's a chance you might be able to catch it.
