Study on Yoga and Gurus
Hi Fellow Indiaphiles,
I am a grad student studying the guru-disciple relationship in yoga and will be travelling through Pune, Delhi, and Rishikesh in the New Year. I am looking to make contact with as many "gurus" in the yoga tradition as possible.
If any of you have had contact with such folks who you believe might be amicable to doing a quick interview with me, please let me know their name and the institute they teach out of (contact info would be awesome too!)
Also, if you a student of yoga and are in one of these areas in early January I would love to meet up for a chai.
Namaste,
Colin

Hello Colin - Welcome to IndiaMike.
Lots of Yoga Im'ers about(I am not one of them) and your thread is now bumped so you may get a response or two. I think you will do well in your research/interviews by winging it a little and word of mouth - once you arrive. Indians are very accommodating for that type of thing - as long as your approach is friendly. Best of luck!

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. ~
