OK...

I didn't come here on this body-occupying escapade of a few years out of a vast, vast existence, to get spiritually enlightned..

But it all adds up.

Hello, I'd love to say that I make more of an active effort to release the spiritual enlightenment inside of me. I know it's there, I can feel it. But, until I fully embrace the process, it will elude me. I have recently taken up yoga and I feel this helps me greatly. I have tried meditation in the past and not quite mastered it. I feel my time to try again is near.

Welcome at Indiamike,
I am not sure about "releasing the spiritual enlightenment" but do not give up meditation.
Take care

And the most striving for spiritual enlightenment are people who make new koans

Many people are not even striving to be decent human beings ---which, by the way, is something that I believe is far more important than "spiritual enlightenment."

We came here to live a life: lets see if we can't live a slightly better life.
