Bharat Heritage Service - any reviews?
Hi Folks,
Bharat Heritage Service offers introductory courses in Ayurveda (a six-day program) that I was considering taking when I am in Rishikesh this winter. Was wondering if anybody here had come across these folks (even just for a massage) and could give me a hint as to their credibility. If it was just me I would head over and check it out - but I am making plans for a group of 8 others as well.
Thanks,
Colin

Hi Colin.
I'm about to go to this ashram for the teacher traning program of 4 weeks. Did you go to this ashram? How was it? How were the accomodations?
Thank you for your time.

hi Michelle - were you talking to vivek? he is a genuinely nice guy and he really helped us out during our stay in rishikesh. the yoga was good enough. not amazing. there is a teacher there named deepak who intrigued me. all told, i think you could do a lot worse. keep an open mind and i suspect you will find it a valuable experience. as with all yoga, you tend to get what you need - not what you expect.
say hi to vivek for me!

Hari Om..
I am looking at doing 1 month of Panchakarma in Rishikesh whilst I'm in India. Would you recommend going there for this?
I have tried to find reviews about them & more information but I seem to only be able to come across their own advertising. I wrote to Vivek & called him but he just seemed a bit pushy for me to book it in without wanting to answer my questions or explain too much about the place. I found this a little concerning.
It seems really difficult to find a decent place in Rishikesh to do this that isn't highly commercial & overpriced.. I know there are places out there but it is more word of mouth than what you can find on the internet.
I would really appreciate your help if you can.
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I am spending 4 months in India Starting in November. I am planning on taking the Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Course at the Bharat heritage ashram and was wondering was it a worthwhile ashram to learn yoga in. I could not find any reviews of this Ashram online and was curious as to how ye got on. Any information on this ashram and the experiences ye had would be great.
