Zuluk - Kupup - Jelep La

Hello,

I am planning a trip to Zuluk from Siliguri on 20-Jan-2012 for a period of 5D/4N. I have also heard there is an eco resort run by some Mr. Pradhan, which is the only place of accomodation there.

With regards to that I would like to know:
1. How do we make the booking? Any phone #/ websites that throw some light?
2. What are the other places near Zuluk (i heard a lake called Kupup, a pass called Jelep La etc are accessible) that can be included in the itinery of 5 days.
3. From where do we get the permits etc?

I also visited Zuluk a few days back during the Pujas. I got in touch with Mr. Sandeep Chourasia of India Beacons Sojourn ( +91 9903295920) and he arranged the trip to a nicety. because I was concerned about sending the money directly, I got in touch with them .... our plan was at follows :
Day 1 : NJP to Reshikhola
Day 2 : Reshikhola to Pedong sightseeing
Day 3 : Reshikhola to Zuluk
Day 4 : Zuluk to Kupup via Silk Route and back to Zuluk
Day 5 : Zuluk to Aritar
Day 6 : Aritar to NJP

Our initial plan was to go to Gangtok instead of Aritar, but since the road was closed we had to change our plan and return to NJP via Aritar.

Please contact mr gopal pradhan of Zuluk .He will arrange evrything for you,I dont remember his phone no but it should be in this forum.Do a search with his name.I lived in his hotel(better called a homestay) an excellent place for those who dont care about too much comfort ,only the entire serenity of the place to embrace you.

You can call to Mr Pradhan for lodging and car booking.

Main attraction of Zuluk is the Sunrise Point, then Lungthung/Kalpokhari Lake/Kupup Lake/Zeleep La Pass/Kupup Village/Adi Baba Mandir/Memencho Lake/Tukla Valley/Nathang Valley.But Zeleep La Pass is not accessible by tourist you can only view the roads.You donot have to worry about the permissions, it is very easy and get done by the driver, only you have to carry one photograph and one photo identity card.
