A few photos from my YUMTHANG trip Album:
Yumthang Valley is a little gem at the heart of North Sikkim
It is reachable by motorable roads from Gangtok itself.
Wild orchids,grazing yaks,a river, snow capped mystic mountains looming large behind the clouds challenging the blue sky and dense forest surrounding the lush green meadow, they all come in a single package.

yaks
On the far end of the valley look for the Yaks ,there are hundreds of them,grazing, some have bells tied ,the sound of which goes well with the gushing sound of the river.Ignore what your driver says.......try to get lost in the vastness

On the other side of the valley , the road leads to zero point.Wish could cross the river and ventured into that wild,or stayed in that hut
