Wonderful Sikkim

Hey all,

Just back from a lovely and refreshing trip frm sikkim.. North sikkim is unbelievable..paradise on earth..yumthang valley is mind blowing..loved the quaint little villages of lachen and lachung. what views!!! pelling was a bit of a dissapointment as it was cloudy and we couldnt get any views. Hotels were good and of course the weather was splendid.

Glad to hear it...im sure everyone , including me , would love to read a detailed write up as well as feedback on the hotels...

Day 0 Kol to NJP
Day 1: NJP to gangtok..local sight seeing..saw some wonderful falls and monasteries..shopped for small handcrafted items. Evening in MG road.

Day 2:Nathula pass,Baba mandir,Tsomgo lake..too cold plus a snow fall
Day 3: Travel to north sikkim..overnite stay in lachung
Day 4:Visit to Yumthang valley.Overnite at Lachen.
Day 5:Return to Gangtok.relaxed for the day
Day 6:Gangtok to Rabangla. Very good place..cool and quiet.
Day 7:Rabangla to pelling..
Day 8:Sight seeing including Khechepari lake,kanchenjunga falls,rimbi falls,change falls,singshore bridge,pemayangtse monastery. Shopped again for souveniers.
DAy 9:Pelling to NJP
