visiting north sikkim-12th or 13th of april
Hi all..we are reaching NJP on 11th morning @ 8am ..will be going to gangtok and then plan to visit North sikkim (lachen, yumthung, zeropoint, gurudongmar lake, lachung) we plan to spend 3 nights and 2 days for this north tour(havnt finalised the itenary). we are only 3 in number, hence taking an exclusive taxi can get very expensive..so we are looking for no fuss travel mates who have similar itenary and doesnt mind halting on way to relax and enjoy the serenity..sharing a taxi for a long tour like this with 10 persons with different sets of mind cant be better then sharing a cab with 6 or 7 like minded travellers

Even we are 3 guys travelling to north sikkim around the same time..we will be in sikkim from 9th to 16th April...
Have you guys tried to contact any tour operators ?? |

hi..no we havn't yet contacted any travel agent..we plan to do this the day we reach gangtok. Do you guys have a final itenary for north sikkim?

Me with my friend,, am also planning to visit Gangtok in the dates as mentioned by you. My itinerary would be ... 10th Apr morning - Del to Bagdogra to Gangtok and sight seeing 11th APR - Gangtok - Changu, Tsomgo lake and Nathu la -Gangtok 12th and 13th APR - planning to visit the same as like urs ---- LACHEN< GURUDONGMAR<YUMTHANG<ZERO POINT<LACHUNG and back to gangtok 14th Morning - back to home . i think we may hire a taxi to lower the cost for the trip on 12th and 13th . Mod Note Hi Abhimeranaam. You've had sufficient time and posts on IM to allow the private message system to kick in - so would suggest using that to send your personal phone number instead of posting it in an open forum. Hi,
I dont think you would be able to visit Gurudongmar and Yumthang on a 2day visit. You might have to increase it by 1 day. Enquire about this before you firm up your plans |
