Visit to Darjeeling & Sikkim in July-Aug..?? Pls suggest..

Hi folks,

We are a newly married couple..and are planning for a holiday trip during last wk of July to Aug 1st week for around 5/6 days in total. We have got few options like Kerela, Andaman etc..but would really like to visit Darjeeling & Sikkim this time. Can anybody give us some guidance & help us planning our trip

1. First of all... will it be ok to visit these places during Monsoon? We love rains but hope it is not too much during that time!

2. Can somebody suggest some good hotels with a nice view? We have got some hotel deails from the net but no idea how these hotels would be..So reference is always better!

3. Would Going to North Sikkim be a good idea? Confused ab what should be our shedule i.e Should we head to Darjeeling first or first to Sikkim..?

4. Any suggestion on the places which needs to be high on our priority?

5. Any suggestions of travel agent who can offer us a good deal? Any rough idea how much should be the expences incl hotel stay for these 5/6 days ?
