If you can extend your stay a little bit longer then you can add nearby places to your itinerary like Nathula pass,Yumthang Valley.... http://protrek.multiply.com

There is a raj style bungalow near the tea gardens at Temi in Sikkim. Absolutely secluded and peaceful.

If you are planning for Sikkim your Honeymoon then go for . I would advise you for : Any one of these places : pelling / Lava / Rabangla / Temi Tea Estate etc in Sikkim. But I would strongly recomend Darjeeling as a good Honeymoon Place. Coz you cant find so Nostalgic Place as Darjeeling. March is very good time to visit. Try the Toy Train from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. That would be a memorable ride as you ride through the virgin beauty of these Hills. Spend the evening in the Mall in Darjeeling. Its too Nostalgic. Good Luck and Happy Honeymoon. ![]() | |

Looks good itinerary .. Few changes i would suggest In Pelling stay in Norbhu Ghang Resort that the best resort in Pelling; If you want I can give you number of one employee.. Also take MAP Plan in Pelling (Breakfast and Dinner) What locations will you choose in Pelling ? there are many and in one its not possible..Kechopari Lake is far but worth a visit ..people do tell that wish made on that lake comes true..its a holy lake of importance then their is singhshore bridge and kanchenjunga falls..pemyangstay monastry..choose between them.. In Gangtok take CP (only breakfast) plan as there are many place you can eat in night ..Hotel Tibet restaurant is good try that .. http://www.indiaplaza.in/books/all/8...yas-sikkim.htm Buy this book ..forget the book..the best part of this book is coupon at the end of the book ..20% Off on Food at Pelling/Gangtok etc...and also its a good handy book..

kechopari lake is also worth a trip. lovely and peaceful. you can light incense and butter candles in an adjacent buldings for prayers/offerings and then turn the (many) prayer wheels as you stroll out and back on the boardwalk. spend a bit of time at it's end, making your wishes. (mine came true!) ![]() also try not to miss pemyangstay monastery!

norbu ghang pix a sunrise pic from just outside my room/bunglow, a mountain view from the front of the main building, a sitting room in the main building, and the lobby. unfortunately, i didn't take any pix of the room, but it was clean and comfortable, with a space heater, table and chairs for tea/room service, and plenty of hot water ("plenty" being relative for sikkim!) ![]()
