Do you know any other staying option in Sandakphu since Cerpa chalet is full on 4th and 5th. Currently we have a reservation in there for 3rd april and 4th in Shikar lodge. Also 6th Apris is a full moon day and we want to see it

sorry buddy, I never stayed anywhere except Cerpa chalet at Sandakphu ........ there is an another good hotel Namo Buddha (sorry dont have the no. right now) and few home stays

This is the first time I am sharing my views here. Well I want to go from Kalimpong to Gangtok via Silk Route in September. We are 09 people. Now can anyone make a suitable travel plan for silk route for 08 days (from Sealdah to Sealdah). I have gone through all the posts and little bit confused. Now can I go to Dzuluk directly from Kalimpong and stay there for 02 days or shall I stay somewhere in between.

you can easily go Zuluk from Kalimpong........or you can stay one/two night at Rishi/Reshi Khola (45km from Kalimpong) before entering old silk route

Thanks.How much time it takes from Kalimpong to Dzuluk? Shall I hire a car from Kalimpong or ask Mr. Gopal Pradhan to pick up from Kalimpong? What may be the car charge for the whole tour (from Kalimpong to Gangtok via Dzuluk.

better not to hire car for entire trip........ask your host to pic you up from Kalimpong.......it'll be the best........coz the car details also have to register at Rangli

Thanks Kanti. Its done. Now how about the host. Who may be? Mr. Gopal Pradhan? Because I am going directly from Kalimpong to Dzuluk. If he is, then what may be the car rate. And what may be the room rate. One thing more, Is the room there specious because I will be with my family (03 persons).

as a first timer to Zuluk, Gopal Pradhan's home would be the best

car rent'll be around Rs 2500-3000

Actually it (room rent) comes with package including food

Rooms are in different shape & size........they provide it according to your need........dont worry rooms are fine for 3 heads

Just return back from my trip yesterday. It was a nice trip. Here was my final tour plan.

30th March - Royal Cruiser to Siliguri
31st march - Siliguri to Zuluk (Stay at Zuluk)
1st April - Site seining to Tambi view point, Nathang Vally, Kupup, Zilip la, Nathula, Changu and back to Zuluk. Night stay at Zuluk.
2nd April - Zuluk to Sukia pokari. Night stay at Jora pukhari.
3rd April - Jora Pukhari to Mane bahanjn and then Land rover ride to Sandakphu. Night stay at Sandakphu.
4th April - Sandakphu to Tumling. Night stay at Tumling.
5th April - Tumling to Darjeeling via pasupati. Night Stay in darjeeling.
6th April - Darjeeling site seining. Night Stay in Darjeeling.
7th April - Darjeeling to Siliguri and then Royal Cruiser to Kolkata.

I'll share the details later.
