Tour Guidance for North Sikkim

I want to travel north sikkim in the phase 2nd october-6th october. I need the guide how to cover all the places like lachung, lachen, gurudongmar, yumthung and other places within the specified time frame.

Dear Sougata,

I am visiting the same places from Sep 19th- Sep22nd. Basically it is a 3Nights & 4 Days package. I have taken the services of a Travel Agent called Sonam Dorjee , who was rated excellent by a fellow IMer during her trip to North Sikkim last december.He sounds a pretty good guy. The itinerary is mentioned below:

ITINERARY( 4 nights 5 days ) A.P

DAY 01: GANGTOK-LACHEN (18th Sept 09)
Start from Gangtok towards Lachen.
Local Sight Seeing on the way.
Lunch on the way at Mangan.
Arrival at Lachen.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachen (Fortuna).

DAY 02 : LACHEN – GURUDONGMAR LAKE (19th Sept 09)
Breakfast at hotel.
Start for Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake.
Tea at Chopta Valley.
Arrival at the hotel and freshen up.
Lunch at Lachen or Lachung.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung(Fortuna).

DAY 03: LACHUNG-YUMTHANG-HOTSPRING (20th Sept 09)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Start for Yumthang Valley (Valley of flowers) and Hotspring.
Back to hotel.
Lunch at the hotel.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung(Fortuna).


DAY 04: LACHUNG-KATAO AND ZERO POINT-LACHUNG (21st Sept 09)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Start early for Katao and Zero Point.
Arrival at the hotel in Lachung,have late lunch there.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung (Fortuna).

DAY 05: LACHUNG-GANGTOK (22nd Sept 09)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Start for Gangtok.
Lunch on the way at Mangan.
Arrival at Gangtok.
End of service.

So i guess this is the best way to enjoy your North Sikkim.
