Snow in October

Hi i am planning for 7 days tour to North Sikkim on Oct 1st to Oct 7th.

My question is does it snow during that time, we rally want to play in snow , so if we go during this time will ther ebe snow anywhere (Changu, Lanchen or Lachung)

Please advice if this is the best time to visit

it is unlikely that u'll get snow so early. forget lachen, lachung, changu .... I doubt whether even zero point will have any snow during that time.
oct is a good time because its not too cold and the sky is likely to be clear but it'll be crowded
In my opinion, winter is the best time to go. Especially early to late december - very few tourists, this brings down the rates and then you can play with snow as much as u can
u mention 7 days in north sikkim - the package trips are usually of 3/4 days in duration.
