Exclamation Sikkim Trip in May-June

I am planning a trip to Sikkim on May end-June. We are two adults and two kids. A certain travel agent has quoted me Rs. 14000/- for an all inclusive 2N3D trip to North Sikkim. The plan looks like:

Day 1 GANGTOK – LACHEN
After breakfast, transfer to Lachen (9000ft. / 131 km / 06 hrs). Overnight at Hotel Lachen. Lunch break at Phodong & tea break at Chungthang

Day 2 LACHEN-GURUDONGMAR LAKE-LACHUNG
Excursions to Chopta & Thangu Valley & Gurudongmar Lake (17000ft / 420kms / 3 hrs).Transfer to Lachung (8600 ft / 03 hrs / 48 kms).Overnight at Lachung.

Day 3 LACHUNG-YUMTHANG- GANGTOK
After Breakfast full day excursion to Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring (11800 ft / 24kms / 03 hrs). & drive back to Lachung have lunch then drive back to Gangtok.

This is an exclusive car rate. Is this reasonable?

Also has been quoted Rs. 1400/- for a double room and Rs. 350/- for extra bed. Is this reasonable too?

My wife and I paid Rs. 6000 all inclusive for a trip from Gangtok to Lachung, stayed overnight in the Hotel Modern Residency there, the next day took a drive to the Yumthang Valley, hiked, visited the hot springs and then visited two monasteries on the way back to Gangtok.

Your price sounds reasonable as you will be there for a day longer than we were.

I have the same question as Radjesh though. If it is all inclusive, why are they quoting you prices for rooms?

Happy travels!

Rates look reasonable for the peak season, but again its up to you find out if the hotel merits that rate... we all know how its in peak season... Which hotel is it?
