Sikkim tour - 23 Dec to 2nd Jan

Hello,

We will be leaving for Sikkim/Darjeeling tour on 23rd December, we plan to explore the following regions -

1. Gangtok
2. Nathula
3. Pelling
4. Darjeeling
5. Mirik

Please give us your thoughts (Hotels,Temparature). Do you think we should not go for Nathula, as its on Indo-China border and I have heard that the temparature falls to -15 ....

Please visit the threads on Sikkim and West Bengal section. There are some posts those will help you. regarding Nathu la, you can try to be there but I think you will not be able to do it. Indo-China border is not an issue but the temp and heavy snow is the factor. So Indian army restricts the civilian car up to Nathu la. You can try this thread:

23.12- Gangtok
24.12- tsomgo/ babamandir and if possible Nathula
25.12- local 7 points sight seeing with Rumtek monastery
26.12- Jhakri falls and Ranka moastery.
27.12- transfer to pelling
28.12- whole day sight seeing
29.12- transfer to Darjeeling
30.12- 3 points and 7 points sight seeing
31.12- free day at darjeeling
1.01- transfer to mirik
2.01- transfer to Bagdogra or njp

You can include or exclude accordingly.
