I would like to know is there anything that's missing in this package.

I guess Pelling is the place that is also known as the The Switzerland of India.

Lastly, has the package been priced appropriately? Considering the hotels mentioned which I wouldn't like to change. The accommodation would be a deluxe room in the hotels.

Not sure about the money part but looks like you would be spending more time travelling in a jeep then seeing places. One day in Pelling is definitely not enough as there is really a lot to see around.

I think the price is good. Considering that it is for 4 pax and for 6 days including transfers ex NJP.
Couple of tips:

1. The access to Nathula pass is depending upon the weather. One may not be allowed all the way upto the point if it is a foggy day / excessive snow. Check with you operator for alternatives in case that does not happen.

2. There is a Helicopter ride by Pawan Hans ex-Bagdogra to Gangtok. It takes roughly 45 mins to reach gangtok by heli and if i remeber correctly they charge around 1500/0 per person. But the money is worth the experience and the time that you save. See if you can take that - at least on your onward journey.

3. Outlook Travellers guide book - on the hills (i do not recollect the name) - is an excellent source of information for such trips. Refer that to ensure that your agent has not missed out on anything!

Happy holidays!!

Hi Fan Of India

Thanks for the reply and you have a nice nick. We would be having the cab probably throughout the whole trip so I guess I would have to rule out the helicopter ride. Though it sounds interesting as I have never been in a helicopter before. I would also try the hills holidays book. I guess I have it. Need to search for it now.
