Sikkim in August

HI, Planning to visit Sikkim in mid of August. We are keen to visit places in Sikkim with snow. Would there be a snow during August? If yes my plan is to be there for four days, please suggest which all places we can cover in four days?

@cvijayan ... you might find snow in zero point but may be difficult to reach if heavy rainfall is there for the possible fear of landslide . As far itinerary the whole north sikkim tour will take a minimum of 3Days and 2Night and the remaining day you can choose either Gangtok sightseeing or the east sikkim ( Tsomongo Lake , Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass). No need to say that If you choose the later one the tour will be a very tough one.

Since August is deep into monsoon, it would not be advisable to travel to North Sikkim as there are huge possibilities of landslide. Apart from North Sikkim you would not get snow anywhere in Sikkim during August. There might be a rare possibility of snow in Zuluk though.

I would say zero possibility

zuluk is a better option if you want snow
