Sikkim Goecha la trek in May-looking for trekking partners/trek to join
Hi there!
I'm arriving in Sikkim around the start of May (date flexible-around the 6th). I would like to do the trek from Yuksom to Goecha La and am looking for people to form a group as I am travelling alone. I would also be looking to hire a guide. If you are going to be there around that time and would be interested in joining up please email me. We are two people and too are planning for Goecha la trek. We are based in Mumbai, India and are planning this around 1st week of May. I have contact an organiser and working out details. Do get in touch if interested to join. ~welekar |

I would be interested in joining you .I'm currently booked to fly to Delhi on May 6th ( I'm from England, but am currently travelling in Vietnam) and then plan to fly to Bagdogra the next day. Hi,
I have done my basic course of mountaineering from HMI. During the time I trek to Gochala, Dzongri and BC Roy peak. My instructor was Mr. Sanjay Bhowmik ph no. 9433343430 who can suggest you or guide you with his experiences. Best of luck. Cheers |

Hi Rathee,
r u sure for going goecha-la in may? actually i love snow tooo much. so i plan on DEC. many of my friends warning me for the bitter cold & expecting not to reach the last view point (5000 mtr)as because of snow!! if there will be any problem, then we plan - trek upto Thansing & from there we cover Kasturi-la at a 4000 mtr.however i think the trek will be adventureous. but in MAY u easily go upto Goecha-la. there will be everything in normal. no smell of adventure. just think- the snowfall is runnig in night & we share a cup of hot coffee inside the tent!!! next day u r coming out of tent & see the whole world is white & white!!!!! if u like some exciting activities u can join me.or just call me at 9830846776 i email you but its failed two times!! i think ur mail id is not correct. |
