Sikkim (Gangtok,Pelling etc)- 10th to 15th June
Hi Friends
Can some of you please tell us some good hotels to stay and contact nos for booking etc at Gangtok and Pelling? We will be staying from 10th to 15th in these places. 3 of us. 9th evening : Kolkata to NJP 15th evening : NJP to Kolkata in between these 2 dats, please help us out  Regards Jasprit |

Hello Jaspritji,
Good hotels are avialable in plenty in Gangtok....the budgets vary depending on the season. I would suggest you to get in touch with a good travel agent in Kolkata and make the necessary bookings, as mid June will be a moderately peak season. As you have five and a half days in your hand, I can suggest you the following tour plan: Day 0- Leave for NJP. Day 1- Arrive NJP in the morning. Head straight to Pelling. Day 2- Go for a conducted tour to the nearby areas. The hotel will make the necessary arrangement. Day 3- Head for Gangtok. Stay for the night. Make bookings for next days trip to Nathula pass. Day 4- Visit Nathula pass/ Tsomgo lake. Day 5- Local sight seeing around Gangtok. Day 6- Leave for NJP. Regards, Sagarneel. |

i was in sikkim for last ten day. dont want to discourage you but sikkim is not the place to visit in june. you will be dissapointed. thanks |

hi,
I'll be in sikkim around the same time... I will reach bagdogra by 4 pm and wish to know if there would be any share jeeps or any other shared transport from bagdogra to gangtok at that time in the evening.. Thanks in advance |
