| hello everybody i am planning for a trip to gangtok and darjeeling from 19th to 26th march . I will reach new JYP at 13:30 on 18th march if train runs in time .i shall be really grateful if any body could advice me if i have enough time to visit both the places or should i concentrate on one of these . i have planned a tentative initiery . 18 - JYP to kamlimpong , night stay at kalimpong . 19 - local sightseeing in morning and then proceed to gangtok 20- local sightseeing and some purchasing . 21 - nathula and tsongo lake 22-local sightseeing and rest 23- gangtok to darjeeling 24 - local sightseeing ,tea garden ,roapway , zoo etc . 25 - tiger hill and other landmarks nearby /on the way . 26 - back to JYP by toy train . i am travelling with wife and two kids of age 12 and 9 and i dont want to exhaust them rather i would like to have some fun with kids . thanks in advance | |

| possibly you meant JPY= New Jalpaiguri (NJP)I'd suggest you to arrange your ininerary like that: kalimpong-Darjeeling-Gangtok........and dont forget to bring stamp size photo and photocopy of address & photo prove documents if you are a foreigner, sorry to say, you'll not be allowed to Nathula (generally)........there is a help desk for foreigners of Sikkim Tourism (on mall) in Darjeeling......you may ask you quarries there

| i regret for my late reply and thanks for your kind attention .sir please suggest if i should opt for north sikkim or darjeeling .which is more enjoyable for kids and more relaxing .i am indian and live in dubai . | |
