Require guidance for Mountain trip in June
Hi all. First, Im new on this forum.
Second, Im kinda new in Kolkata. Now I got a set of tickets to NJP for a trip in June(2 senior citizens included), and had Kolakham in mind.
Now I get to hear it's gonna be rainy over there during that time. Also thanks 2 the agitation in Darjeeling not sure how safe it will be at that time.
Need guidance from the experts on this forum. 2 break down the problem statement here it goes :-
Where can a family, (age group 16-60), go from New Jalpaiguri, in the month of June for a 3-4 days outing in the hills, to escape summer heat.
Thanks in advance.

as monsoon breaks generally in mid-June in Sikkim and West Sikkim is less landslide zone, I suggested you for that region ....... do some Google and make your destinations
Update on Sikkim trip
Had a great time visiting Sikkim. Finally decided on Ravangla, and didn't regret it.
Just an FYI:-
Traveled with Sisir...Great driver and reasonable price. Phone 9733042995
Stayed up @ Cloud's End..The hotel owner was friendly, even managed to coax him into cooking Khichdi, and it wasn't even on the menu. Phone 9339741509.
