Peling

Hi,

Am new in this forum. Was searching for information on peling and bumped across this site.
Anyways, planning a 5 days trip to Peling with my wife. Can anyone suggest details of hotels/tourist lodges available in Peling. What can be the short trips from Peling, keeping it as my base.

We liked Peling a lot and would say it was a good base to explore some of the best known monestaries of Sikkim, this website list some of them.

There are great views of Kangjenjunga from here and you are close to the ruins of Rabdentse - the old capital of Sikkim.

Yuksum is about three or four hours away and I'm told is well worth a visit (we didn't have time)

Depending on the time of year, remember to bring plenty of warm clothes as it can get very cold up here.
