North sikkim in December

Hi All,
'am planning to visit north Sikkim on the first week of December. I would be reaching gangtok on the 4th and wish to stay at Singhik on the 5th and then carry on for a 3N/4D trip to the north. 'Have tried the same a couple of years back in Jan but everything up north was closed for bad weather. I gather that even this time 'am late but might just be able to make it upto Gurudongmar, which happens to be my main attraction.
I am looking for advice regarding the right kind of package and the best place to nestle in view of the fact that its going to terribly cold. Although I've been to gangtok quite a few times before but never have i managed to get a good place to stay in the range of 1000 - 1200. Can anybody give me some idea about Mintokling Guest house.

I have been to Sikkim in December and we could not find enough people for a shared jeep to Gurudongmar but that was end of December. It would be OK, day managable and nights really cold.
