I am planning to reach darjeeling from Bagdogra Airport via Mirik and want to explore Mirik in this travel itself. Can anyone help me how I can achive this safely and economically. I will prefer go by taxi as luggage would be there.

Distance between Darjeeling and Bagdogra is 93 km, and easily you may travel by a taxi. But via Mirik lake, it would be around 110 kms. The taxi would b echarging around INR 1,000.
