Need Suggestion
Hi friends,
Planing a holiday with wife & son in Sikkim for 6-8 days in oct 09, excluding the travel time from Mumbai. Generally we avoid to go with tour operator, hence need help in making my tour iteneary for Sikkim. Is October a good time to go to sikkim. Kindly help Thanks Kaval - 09769664004 |

Sure, October is good to go. I guess since you are with family, you wont be trekking so I would suggest a few places.
Gangtok tsomgo lake 40 km from gangtok Nathula pass 54 km from gangtok Pelling Khecheopalri Lake Khangchenjunga water fall Lachen, Gurudongmar Lake, Lachung Yumthang Valley (all in north sikkim) If you have time left you can visit Borong or Rin-Chen-Pong. I would advise you not to book any travel package as these people quote too high. You will get the same place at a very less price if you reach Gangtok and then bargain for it. I am also planning a trip in Oct first week. Enjoy your stay Cheers!!! |
