Nathang Valley Itinerary
Hi All,
I am planning to visit Nathang valley in the first week of May. Can you please help me on making the itinerary ?
I want to visit Zuluk, Sillery Gaon, Nathang valley and Tsomgo Lake for 3 days. I will start my journey from Kolkata on 3rd of May and would like to be back to Kolkata on 7th/8th May morning.
Is is possible to cover all places within this short span of time?
Need your suggestion.
Also provide me information on the climate.
Thanks in advance.

as you chose little offbeat distinations, share car will not available
but you can try this to save some money:
for Sillrey ...... you'll get share jeep from NJP to Kalimpon.....next Kalimpong to Pedong.....then ask your Sillrey Gaon host to pic you up from there
for Zuluk........Kalimpong to Rangpo........then Rangpo to Rangli..........then ask your Zuluk host to pic you up from there

Gnathang Valley Itinerary
Although, you have decided to postpone it till April, 2013, my suggestion ...
3rd May = Kolkata to NJP
4th May = NJP to Ariter (enroute Sillery gaon)
5th May = Ariter to Zuluk
(Permit is required to enter into the route, which can be obtained from Rongli)
6th May = Zuluk to Gangtok (via Gnathang Valley, Kupup & Tsomogo)
7th May = Gangtok to NJP
8th May = NJP to Kolkata
You can try first week of April for snow fall enroute but chance of road block due to snow fall can not be overruled, as mountain roads & weather are too unpredictable. For sure, in April, you will not be able to see clear ambiance, unless something miracle happened. If weather is not favourable, you will not be able to see any snow on the route. From late December to middle of April (may be upto end of April), you will receive snow fall enroute (Zuluk to Gangtok via Gnathang), most likely! You will not get everything (snow, greenery, riots of colour of flower etc.) in a single trip.
If you want hassle free tour (including transportation - NJP to NJP or else, all food & stay enroute), may contact
1) Mrs. Geeta Pradhan (@ Ariter) = 9932487358 (Hotel Aditya, Ariter)
2) Mr. Gopal Pradhan (@ Zuluk) = 9609860266 (Dil Maya Retreat, Zuluk)
3) Mr. Suraj Pradhan (@ Zuluk) = 7872883264 (Dil Maya Retreat, Zuluk)
Thanks!
