Itinerary for a 4-5 day trip in early December

Hi,
2 of us will be In Siliguri in early December. We will likely be there for 4-5 days (after reading the various threads, I want
to come back in April for some trekking, to see flowers and go to
Gurudongmar / N Sikkim).
I don't know if it will be possible to go all the way to
Gurudongmar Lake in early December (does it snow that early?). If
yes, doing a 3D/2N N Sikkim tour, plus 1 night in Gangtok & 1 more
around Pelling will be a good way to spend 5 days.
If N Sikkim is better seen in April, can you suggest some
other places to see in early December?
