Hiya

Just my opinion -

Why break your journey on day 1 ... I would go all the way from Bagdogra to Gangtok in one go. (Siliguri is not half way) It will make Day 2 a lot easier and less tiring for you.

Day 6 - I doubt if you will get to Darjeeling on time for the 10am train.

Day 7 - Forget Tiger Hill ... You will see nothing new.

Fond of the early morning arn't you.

I think you are trying to do too much, but someone who knows Sikkim better might be able to give better alternatives.

No problems with that journey after dark, the local taxi/bus drivers know the road well.

I agree with SteamBuff, even if you leave for Gangtok directly from Bagdogra you should be in Gangtok by 9:00pm so why waste precious time in Siliguri

In my opinion, while traveling to mountains, its best not to have a very tight schedule ... though the road conditions are comparatively very good in Sikkim (thanks to the army) ... it is best to have some extra days at hand.
Also thr r certain practical difficulites ... like the permits for Nahtula r issued only on certain days of the week n its takes at leat one day.
Starting every day @ 5am may not be feasible.
What I suggest is instead of covering many places in hurry, enjoy a few places well.
Like instead of visitng Nathula-Changu, you can visit Yumthang in a more relaxed way. In my personal experience Changu in Summer won't be that awesome.
