Information requested for pelling

I would be reaching NJP rly. station at 8 AM (if train is on schedule). I want to hire a car for my family. We will be four in group (3 adults and 1 child of 3 yrs.).

My questions are :

1. Do I need to hire a jeep or any small size car is available ?

2. Where from I should hire the car ? going through different sites,I have found few options like -
a. NJP Rly. Station,
b. Tenzing Norge bus terminus,
c. SNT terminus
d. Gurdwara
Which one would be convenient and reliable ?

3. What would be approximate cost for car hiring from NJP / Siliguri to Pelling ?

4. If we can start by 9 AM, what will be the approximate duration to reach pelling ?

This is my 1st post and I have already fired a lots of questions. I would like to have your help. So please.......

Are you visiting Pelling only or plan to visit other areas of Sikkim?
If you hire a transport from NJP to Pelling you will probably have to pay for return journey too.
If you start at 9 AM you will comfortably reach Pelling by noon.
Since you are arriving by train you should look for a transport outside the station.

Hello Jyotirmoy,
I shall spend 2-3 days at pelling and then would proceed towards Ravangla for another couple of days and then will return back to NJP to catch train.
Can you provide me an approximate cost of car hiring for pelling.
