How to call Sikkim?

I'm currently in Bangalore, trying to call Gangtok and having no luck, maybe someone in IM has some insight. I've tried three numbers, the first of which is the Netuk House hotel. The number given in my book and on various web sites is 22374, and the area code for Gangtok is variously listed as 03592 and 03592-2. So I've tried all of the following, and all get an "invalid number" message:
03592 22374
03592 222374
3592 22374
3592 222374

I've also tried similar combinations for two of the numbers for the Sikkim tourist info number in Gangtok, so I don't think the problem is just with this one number. I am relying on someone else to make the call - I'm in our company office and the only way to make long-distance calls is to ask the operator to do it (I think they're sick of me by now, I've asked them to try so many different numbers).

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Gangtok has its STD as 03592 and all telephone nos. are 6-digit if looking for Gangtok numbers.

I remember the address Netuk House during my stay in Gangtok, 3 years back. This is on Tibet Road, the road above the Tourism Office, perhaps the topmost road.

Now, to make things easier, click on the link http://210.212.0.3/wbtcdirect/ . This is the BSNL portal for searching telephone nos. and names as well as addresses. I tried the address search and found a few tel. nos.

Try and wish you good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion caster. Apparently Sikkim used a more complicated rule when moving to 6-digit phone numbers; 22374 became 202374. I checked a few hotel numbers and "insert a zero after the first digit" seemed to be the general rule. Who would have guessed that? I wasn't able to find out the answer until I got to Bagdogra airport and picked up a newer list of hotels from the Sikkim tourism desk at the airport.
