how much time to spend in Sikkim?

I'm planning on going to Sikkim in march/April. I mainly want to go there to go trekking. I'm wondering how much additional time to spend there, and what things I can do. I've spent 3 months in Dharamsala, and a week in the Spiti Valley. Am wondering if it's very similar to those experiences. The guide books don't have a lot in them.

Sikkim is a great destination if you continiously keep moving to different places like Gangtok,Lachung,Yumthang,Chopt a Valley,Pelling,Yuksom then it may be worth while spending 15 to 20 days or it might get a little boaring just to stay in one place.

sikkim nature wise is one of the most beautiful places that u can be in , so if ur into nature and all , it will be really worth spending good time there, than from there u can also go to kalimpong and darjeeling and all those places,close by max 3/4 hrs drive.u can also try trekking at the HMI - Darjeeling.
