Hotels in Booking in Gangtok during Durga Pooja

Hi
I am a BUDGET Traveller and Planning to visit Gangtok during DP holidays with my family, want to stay there for 4-5 days, please let me know about a neat and clean hotel to stay for about 4-5 days in main area of Gangtok. I want a 3-4 bedded room.

Do I have to book room in advance ??



Also suggest me about places of interest near Gangtok, not interested in China Border, because I have heard stories of landslides, trffic jams etc.

I want to take photographs of The Great Himalayan range, which location near Gangtok is the best for Himalayan Views.

if you really want to stay at core area or MG Marg, better to book advance...........otherwise spot booking will keep your wallet healthy


Tasi view point, Hanuman Talk and most part from upper Gangtok

However I would like to trek to Namche bazer in Nepal. The funniest thing is that
I am unable to ascertain the air fare from Kathmandu to Lukla. The middlemen reigns.
