honeymoon trip in december and permission for Fambong Lho WildLife Santury

I am planning my honeymoon trip to sikkim in december. The places I am going to stay are

Kalimpong - 1 Night
Gangtok - 3 Nights
Lachung - 2 Nights
Yumthang Valley, Tsomgo Lake ( I want to visit this 2 place )
Pelling - 2 Nights
Darjeeling - 2 Nights

I have two concerns.

Does it get too cold around 15th Dec-25th Dec when I am planning the trip.

And about the permission for Fambong Lho WildLife Santury? Is it possible to manage there only or I need to take actions in advance. I want to spent 1 full day in some sanctury looking for sikkim birds. Have I made right choice by planning to visit Fambong Lho WildLife Santury or is there any other sacntury that I should visit to see birds.

Please help me.

Yes it would be pretty cold during the period you are planning to visit especially in Lachung- Yumthang. There is a forest department bunglow at Teenjure inside the Fambong Lho WildLife Santury. If you wish to stay or go to the sanctuary you will have to get permissions in advace as there is no check post over there. You can get the permissions from the Forest department office in Deorali, but it would be a little painful since you will have to deal with the bureaucracy.

thanks for your valuable reply. Can I get any phone numbers or anything that will help me to seek the permission for the same, as I am travelling from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. And is Fambong is good choice to see the birds of sikkim in the month of december ??
