Honeymoon in December
Hello all!
I am planning to go for honeymoon in 2nd week of Dec'09 to Sikkim for a duration of 1 week. I need your help regarding below points: 1. Travel . Are there any connecting flights from: Hyderabad-Delhi-Bagdogra-Gangtok Hyderabad-Kolkata-Bagdogra-Gangtok . How to go from Bagdogra to Gangtok? . Is there any other shorter/better/cheaper route than the ones mentioned above? 2. Accommodation . Should have a bathtub, fireplace (optional), balcony with a wonderful view of Kanchenjunga & valleys (req from my would be!) . Has anyone heard about The Royal Demazong in Gangtok or Babumoshai Resort in Ravangla? . Budget: Rs. 5000/- per day (max) . OR any accommodation near to the planned spots for sightseeing (see 2nd point below). 3. Spots for sightseeing . I have heard that North Sikkim is the best especially due to Yumthang Valley, Lachung, Changu Lake n of course the closest look to Kanchenjunga!! But still I need a conformation on the same. . Is there any other romantic place in Sikkim? . Requirement: Calm, no crowd, not too risky but in the mountains & valleys with lots of greenery n flowers around. Thanks in advance!! -Mac |
