Hi buddy, You want a peaceful honeymoon or go on an expedition
The most peaceful choice would have been Pelling. However I also visited North Sikkim on my Honeymoon and repeated that two years back on our 10th anniversary!
Therefore unless both of you are the adventurous type I would suggest dropping Gurudongmar and Lacheng from the itinerary. Spend an additional day at Lachung. It is beautiful. You could also visit Katao on the extra day. Instead of Apple Valley Resort ask for the Le Coxy Resort. Apple Valley was the first resort but it is now old and not updated.
When we visited Lacheng two years back we were put up in a very basic room. there were no good hotels at Lacheng. Perhaps things may have improved now but ask for hotel photographs before agreeing. I am not sure that staying at Thangu is a great idea. I think it is near Chopta valley and at nearly 15000 ft. the body needs to acclimatise. The last thing you need is altitude sickness. Again the hotels are extremely basic and it is very cold at night. Hope this helps.

You could do one more thing. Visit Rabagla before Sikkim. That way you will give yourselves a chance to acclimatise to the heights of North Sikkim.
Enjoy your trip!

thanks rajat...

yeah rajat we want a little bit of mixed tour some wild nights that is why we chhose stay at THANGU.
Basically i met my would be wife on the tour to NORTH SIKKIM 2 yrs back that time we went gurdummar via THANGU but that time we could'nt manage to stay there but the place is really terrific so this time we want to stay there..

Last time we didnt have any altitude related problem so we are taking the chance....
First we thought of staying in Shangrila resort but the tour arranger who is one of my elder brothe rhis name is also RAJAT( trainer fo himalayan mountanering Institute) told me to have a stay in APPLE VALLEY RESORT...i will kep it in mind to ask photographs if any and let him about the hotel you told me...

warm regards
