Good local tour company for Sikkim
Hi there guys,
I am going to Sikkim end of Oct till Nov, I am looking for a good local tour opperator to arrange a good tour of the state with, not just Gangtok and around. I would prefer a local and sustainable tour company over any big ones. I have checked online and most are pretty big tour companies catering to rich westerners, staying in flash hotels etc which is not my cuppa tea really, would rather local guesthouese etc. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Oh and I have been asked by a firend to find out what the weather is like there in West Bengal - Darj and Kalimpong as well as Sikkim during Dec and Jan? Thanks  |

You can try Safar Leisure Consultancy of Kolkata which has office at Jalpaiguri Ph- 09830580893. The weather that time will be chilling. But the biggest advantage you will get is the clear blue sky and Khangchendzunga views.
