Gangtok & Yumthang

Hi all gurus,

I am planning to visit Gangtok & North Sikkim in mid October'09. Can anybody advise me on following

1. What are the places are 'must see' in North Sikkim
2. What will be the weather condition temp/ rain at that time in gantok & yumthang
3. What will be the best rate for all inclusive 3d/2n tour x-gantok considering a full hard roof jeep and hotel Le coxy or Snow Lion standard at Lachung/ Lachen for 4 adult 3 childs.

plan is good.
katao hills ( near lachung) in north sikkim is famous for snow throughout year.
you may inform the driver accordingly, to cover it.
they charge separately for this point.

Your plan looks good. We had been there during Oct end a couple of years ago. We did come across quite a bit of snow after yumthuang valley towards zero point and in nathula pass..

yes the plan is perfect and we had done almost same plan in march 2008. katao , zero point is the right place to get snow. the plan wont be hectic at all. make a point to load ur camera with memory as the road to lachen n lachung is awesome with many waterfalls and bridges here n there and the teesta river flowing along ur way. the roads are narrow with hell lot of turns n curves. so be prepared with medicines befor hand if u suffer frm motion sickness. i prefer having lime juice at intervals. it helps.
