Hi Stevan,
This was a very informative article. I plan to make a journey to the north east including Darjeeling, Sikkim and Bhutan. I have about a month at my disposal. Your article will be a good starting point. Any more suggestions will be welcome

Dont think i can answer that 100% but what i feel is that the terrain is too risky to undertake a N sikkim trip during rainly season...its best to avoid June - July for N Sikkim...

u may however vist the ther parts of Sikkim

Besides Gurudongmar lake in winters is an awesome experience!!
