3 of us have reservations at Pemiyangtse post Christmas for 4 nights just to rejuvenate. We have a total of 6 nights in hand
I believe the road conditions are worse than what it was 3 years ago.
So we want to come down closer to Bagdogra so that our travel on the 30th Dec morning to Bagdogra airport is minimized.

We have the zeroed down on Kalimpong & Namchi for a break journey purpose.

Namchi a good option? Any suggestion for a good hotel with views?
Or any other new unsung locale? Budget around Rs.4000/night.

Thanks. Have stayed in Cherry Tree Resort in 2012. Found the hotel a bit run down, shabby bathrooms & depressing with its tube lights. Dont know if its got renovated over the years.

Ravangla is a nice place. Another quaint village near Rabangla ( around one & a half hours by car from Rabangla) is Borong.

For Ravangla you can stay @ Ravangla star, home away from home feeling definetly. Or else Barfung retreat can also be a good iption
