Accomodation Lachen / Thangu Area

Hi !
Can any one give contact persons phone numbers/ Email Addreses of the Hotel / Tea House/ Local Home Hospitality in Lachen, Lachung , Thangu and near bye villages ?
Has any one visited place called HEMA some where beyond Thangu ?

Thangu is a small village with no access to electricity forget telephone numbers. off course no mail ID's.

You can do two things,
1. Get yourself a permit so that you can visit Thangu and go forward till Gurudongmar lake.You need to book a Jeep for it and the driver will help you out with the basic acco and food.
2. Contact a travel agent who will accompany you and will do all the bookings.

Snow lion Mountaingn Resort is the best one in Lachung. You would get acco their easily.

These days we are having 8 hrs Load Shedding .. so .we would feel at Home at Thangu !
1.Can we get North Sikkim permits between 2 PM to 5 Pm , just on the earlier day prior to entering North Sikkim by our selves or it's mandetory to hire a travel agent ?
2. Are there state Transport buses to Lachung , Lachen etc ?
3. What sort of food is available at Thangu ?
4. Which place would you recommend for night out / night trek amongst Lachen/ Thangu or around ?
5. Is there any good place (200-300Rs. Double Bed) to stay on the out skirts of Gangtok city ?
