Let me pitch in for the sake of making it comprehendible to others. What Biswajit wrote (an appreciation of the write up by Amit) roughly translates to (please pardon my translation skills, I am a disaster when it comes to translating):

"I can't keep my sanity after reading your write-up. Please help me when I make a plan to go there. The pics are lovely, and the write-up is worth repeated reading. Wonderful job"

You seemed to be unhappy with Dzongu alone....Are you planning to make Sikkim your home ????? otherwise how can you digest both Dzongu and Rabangla at a single go !!!!!! One by one madam.... I need to keep my job also.....

A joke by one of my prof: "How many Rasgulla's can you eat in an empty stomach??? everybody replied 5, 10 or even more... Prof replied I said empty stomach... Does it remain empty if you have already eaten one !!!!!!

So First go to Dzongu in the OCt-NOv time....

Then ask me questions about Ravangla I will answer all your queries....

just kidding....
If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun

If I have inspired you to write these wonderful travelogues, then all I would say is that I am glad! 'Off beat destinations in Sikkim' was started by me, I do agree, but what is thread is today is only because of the contribution of all IMers, so I would join you in standing up and applauding all our efforts, not mine alone.

And yes, I do agree, I must go there, and I am planning a trip in November. Let's see how things unfold.

Since I can't access Picassa from work, I will have to wait until I return home. However, I feel that no comment is enough for the write-up, I guess I will have hunt for new adjectives in Webster!

Hi Deep, I will really feel great if I can help anyone of IM friend to make a trip to Dzongu...Its only you guys who had constantly insisted for the travelogue ....otherwise it would also have been some untold story....cheers

Yes I have . A wonderful movie on some very sensitive issues. Had 'Lord of the rings: The return of kings' not released that year (2003), it was a definite candidate for the Academy Award for the best movie.

Its a great feeling, btw, to know that my translation was appreciated
