6 days trip to yumthang-lachen-lachung in december' 09
I'm planning to visit north sikkim this december for 6 days.
I'll board from kolkata on 25th and return from njp on 31st. please suggest me a itinerary for yumthang-lachen route and also suggest me whether I can manage to visit yumthang-lachen-lachung avoiding gangtok or not?? as I've visited gangtok earlier.... How long will it take to go to lachen directly from njp?? 25th December, 2009 --> boarding from sealdah to njp - - - - - 31st December, 2009 --> boarding from njp to sealdah.  |

Remember that you have to engage a tour operator having a permit to take tourists to north Sikkim. So it may be necessary to go to Gangtok.

boss,
you can land up at the taxi stand at like 10am when the taxis depart and that will be all. call a good agency there and they'll manage everything

is it possible to cover both gangtok and yumthang in a 6days trip, I dont want to make it a hectic one.... |

we r a group of 8 planning to visit north sikkim, west sikkim, nathula & chango in the first week of december-09 for 9 days.
can any one help me by suggesting a travel agency which provides four wheelers like Qualis for our complete tour upto gurudongmar lake- (including permits to N.sikkim & Nathula)....... |
