Hello everyone, I'm visiting Sikkim in September along with my 2 friends. We will reach Sikkim on 26th September and will stay till 29th. So I want your help planning this trip. As you can see that it's gonna be a short trip so which places do you recommend us to visit. We also need help with hotels, we are college students so we don't need any fancy hotels, just somewhere which is clean and safe and not expensive. We don't have any fixed budget but we want to keep it as low as possible. Please help me plan this trip.

Well in four days you will not have time to explore all the corners of Sikkim. So you need to make choices. It really depends on what you are looking for. If you want the remote wilds, then head straight for the North of Sikkim. If you want to relax and/or go for gentle hikes, head for Western Sikkim.
If you give us more information, anubisX, it would be easier to help you! There is a wealth of useful travel advice in the Sikkim forum; I suggest that you read up a bit and then you would have a better idea of the possibilties.

Well, actually I'm very confused reading the articles. Actually, as we have a very limited time, we can't decide where to visit. We just want to stay away from the tension and relax for some time. We will vist Sikkim next year again and that will be for a longer duration.

In that case, my vote would be to head directly for Richenpong in Western Sikkim. It is relaxing, quiet, not yet developed, with amazing views of the mountains. Some recommendations for hotels there have been made on similar threads.
