4 Days/3 Nights in Sikkim?
Hi All,
Hope you're doing well. Two friends and I had planned on spending 4 days and 3 nights in Darjeeling, but I've read a lot lately that advises avoiding it (because it is supposedly very crowded and built up), and wanted to see if anyone had any advice about where to stay in Sikkim? Here are specifics: Arrive in Bagdogra airport, morning of June 22 Leave New Jalpaiguri on train, evening of June 25 Am thinking we spend a night in Darjeeling, and from there go to Gangtok or something? Any thoughts would be super helpful. Also if you have any specific suggestions for places to stay (on medium budget), that would be great too! Thanks so much, Reed |

Hi buddy. You have limited time. If I were you instead of attempting too many places I would stick to one place. Pelling would be a good place if you just want to chill. Darjeeling would be good if you want to do things like visit a pub, etc. Choice and recommendations will depend on what you like. Enjoy your trip

Fair enough--seems like you're right, we would be rushing it. I've instead planned for one night in Darjeeling and one night at the Goomtee Tea Resort in Ghoom.
