Question Transport Annoyances in city areas such as new delhi

i think the transport system in india esp. new delhi is very inadequate compared to other major global cities. crowded buses...etcetc all mar its effort to become world class. what do you guys feel? some of our fellow forum users have complaint about scams HERE

do you think india will ever improve its transport system????

At least delhi has a world class metro, and i think they are expanding it more. Cities like Bangalore without a metro are off much worse.
But they really should modernize the bus network. The trouble is, public transport should stay affordable even for the poor, but modernization means more costs...

Yes, no, whatever... I do not see the point in having a thread for speculation.

a cheap car like the nano solves no problems, in contrary it increases the traffic problems.
anyway the initial buying prize of the car soon does not matter that much as fuel costs will continue to grow. what is needed is efficient mass transport
