shopping, tailoring and staying in dehli and jaipur

hi guys,
i'm going to be in dehli and jaipur in may, and would love your views / advice on the following:

- intercontinental grand hotel in connaught place - any good?

- anywhere i can pick up some cheap silk printed sarees and some silk kaftans / kurtis?

and not sure if this is your bag, but would love you views on:

finding an embroiderer - independent of a tailor

finding a great tailor to make a suit, i always struggle to find someone who can make a good jacket.

and finally....

A bag maker, that could custom make me a bag. i have searched arun an only seem to be able to find big manufacturers

You should first ask whether its a good thing being in Delhi and Jaipur in May !!

If the answer is in the affirmative, then queries on shopping, tailor, etc. should follow !!
