!!! LIVE - Warnings and Precautions Thread !!!

As we are in the eve of tourist season, thought of starting a LIVE thread on issues impacting visitors to various indian locations.

Target Audience - Visitors who are planning to visit a particular town or city in India.

Target Updaters - Indian IM'rs and those currently in India who get to hear the local news immediatly and can update the rest of the IM community as currently these warnings get hidden under the huge number of postings which is a nightmare to search for, with the famous access speeds of Indian Internet cafe's.

First update - Bangalore hotels are full like never before. There is an international cardiac conference in town. with more than 5000 delegates (according to local media). If any IM member or people known is stuck up without accommodation, send me a PM and shall try to be of help.
