Katrina Charity Donations:WARNING
It seems that the scum has quickly risen to the surface...
If you get emails asking for donations to charities, please check very carefuly that the mail is genuine. Do not click on links in mails, but go directly to a charity's website in your browser. It seems that someone is sending out mails that look as if they come from Amazon asking for donations to the American Red Cross. The look and feel of the mail carefuly copies Amazon's own style and even uses copy from their site, but the From field is forged and it does not come from Amazon I just got this from WoodysWatch --- a series of e-zines dealing with Windows and Microsoft software, a reputable source www.office-watch.com. Sort of an IndiaMike of the Microsoft world!
